How to use Searchable ChatGPT?
Press Ctrl-Shift-P or sidebar button to open the search. Type in the search box to find messages that match your query.
How does it work?
It creates a local index of all your chats and messages. When you search, it uses this index to find the messages that match your query.
Why do I need it?
Currently, ChatGPT does not offer a way to find older chats. If you have numerous chats and need to find something you've discussed before, this extension is for you.
Does it search the contents of the chats?
Yes, it creates an index of both chat names and chat messages. You can search for any word or phrase mentioned in your chats.
What are the limitations of the free version?
The free version searches through all your chats and messages but is limited to 3 search results per search.
